Accreditation

We are members of Resolution, formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association, which commits family lawyers to resolving disputes in a non-confrontational way in the belief that family law disputes should be dealt with in a constructive way designed to preserve people's dignity and to encourage agreements. Membership requires the demonstration of a high level of skill in family law as well as specialist knowledge of two or more specific family law subjects. The firm dates back to 1980 when John Brennan moved from Gateshead back to his home town of Wallsend in North Tyneside to form the law firm of Brennans where the emphasis has always been on people. With a client base also in Whitley Bay and Tynemouth, we're very much a team of family solicitors.
